Is this program right for you?

Are you a current teacher (RYT) with an authentic desire to grow as a student and professional?  Our eighteen-month program will allow you to develop relationships with other teachers who are similarly motivated and to support one another on your life long journeys as practitioners, students, and teachers. Let’s build a community of advanced trainees who are enthusiastic about learning within the context of traditional yoga and sharing their experiences and insights.

Our Yoga Alliance registered 300 hour yoga teacher training program allows teachers with the RYT 200 credential to commit to an advanced level of practice and teaching that includes a deeper understanding of philosophy and practice, with a specific focus on Ayurveda, Classical Yoga, and the energetics of yoga. Together with committed personal practice, this knowledge will allow you to guide yoga students in more meaningful ways that promote their authentic growth and transformation.  You will develop individualized teaching goals and work with faculty to develop a personalized plan for your growth. Through the training, you will develop a deep connection to the living tradition of yoga that will prepare you to offer inclusive and inspired teaching that unfolds within the context of your unique purpose and gifts.

Program Requirements

To successfully complete the program, you will complete 270 contact hours, participating fully in all sessions, which will each include some lecture, some asana practice, lots of discussion, and group activities. See Program Dates and Times.

We understand that you may need to miss a class, though we ask you do so as infrequently as possible.  We offer makeup sessions on the last Wednesday of each month for up to eight hours, so you can still complete your certification on time.  There is a $50 administrative fee for makeup sessions.  The other option is to make up hours during the next round of training.

Outside of class you will complete 30 homework hours and participate in a group service project.

Enrollment in the Advanced Teacher Training involves a brief application.  Early admission decisions will be made for any applications received before July 1, 2018.  Early admission is a great way to ensure you have a spot in the class, and just to make it sweeter, if you register for early admission, we’ll buy your books for you!

Tuition for the program is $4,500.  Trainees who choose to pay the full amount upfront by December 1, 2018 will receive a $250 discount.

Otherwise, your $250 deposit holds your place.  Payments of $250 can be made each month, beginning January 2019, until the balance is paid in full.  Deposits cannot be refunded for any reason.
