I often think fondly of places where I used to live, like my first studio apartment with its big windows looking out at the tall trees lining the street of old Victorian houses. I remember the first house Chip and I lived in and the ivy planted hill that led down to a small creek. There's something especially compelling about a new space, fresh possibilities and the enchanting details that you just know will nourish you and the other that share the space.
And so, with this kind of enthusiastic anticipation, I'm thrilled to announce that we are opening a new space that will house our expanded offerings of private yoga and Ayurveda lifestyle coaching. In addition, this space will be the nexus for our growing training programs that will soon include an advanced 300 hour yoga teacher certification program and continuing education opportunities for professionals.
We're calling this new space the Yoga Bird Center for Teaching and Learning, and like our two studio spaces, it will be an inclusive, welcoming place where you can be assured that you are receiving the best, customized care from dedicated, professional teachers. Stay tuned for lots of announcements about programming and other opportunities in this space that will allow you of find upliftment and radiant health.
We invite you, as part of our Yoga in Action Community Celebration, to come to the dedication of this new space on Sunday July 30 from 9:00 am to 9:30 am. This free event will be followed by a donation based workshop on the History and Philosophy of Yoga from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
In the meanwhile, enjoy these sneak preview pictures and some of the details that we just adore including a comfortable sitting area, gorgeous arch windows and beautiful dream catchers.
