It took me almost two years of “thinking about it” to actually walk into a yoga studio and lay down my mat. Little did I know that day was going to be the start of real change in my life. I went from being too self-conscious of my body type to exercise around others, to becoming a yoga teacher. I completed my RYT 200 in June 2017, and added a Himalayan Institute certification as an Ayurveda Specialist in February of 2018.
I am in constant amazement of how yoga has changed the way I live my life and the way I deal with life’s unexpected challenges. There is increased clarity and peacefulness that helps me process the world around me with strength and grace. This is my hope for you, that yoga helps you along your life’s journey; to nourish the body, mind and spirit on and off the mat, as it has mine.

This well-rounded practice is great for beginners and experienced yogis. Each class will include stretching and essential yoga poses. Classes include clear explanation of the poses and suggestions for how to modify them for your abilities and goals. Yoga 1 allows you to work at an individualized pace to become stronger and more flexible and to improve balance. Beginners will love the pace and explanation, while experienced yogis will have the opportunity to refine and deepen what they have practiced.
