When my daughter began Kindergarten in 2012, I realized I was so caught up with being a mommy, I lost myself as a woman. It was then, I found yoga. Yoga has helped me in every way. It has given me the wisdom to heal myself, body, mind and spirit. It also feels AMAZING! I knew I wanted yoga in my life everyday and I was already a Child Care Provider for many years, so bringing my passions together felt very natural. I began teaching Kids Yoga for Yoga Bird in 2015. Helping kids discover mindfulness thru movement, breath work and play has been such a joy. I am following my dharma and I couldn't feel more fulfilled.


Shanna Bryant instructs the following:
  • Yoga Kids (ages 2-5)
  • Yoga Kids is great for boys and girls ages 2-5 years old. This uplifting, hour long class will have your little bird moving through movements prompted by songs, games and stories. Your child will strengthen coordination, build body awareness  learn yoga and mindfulness through simple poses and fun breathing exercises. We love using our imaginations in class, so be prepared for lots of silliness and so many giggles.
    Have your child wear comfortable clothes and bring a bottled water.
    Parents and caregivers participation is optional and always free.
    Non members: $10 for 1 child. Each sibling is $4.
    Members: $5 for 1 child. Each sibling is $4.

  • Parents Night Out (ages 5+)
  • Kids Yoga with Shanna is hosting a very special Parent's Night Out at Yoga Bird!

    KIDS - Join us this holiday season as we explore fun and friendship while learning how to calm our bodies and our minds.

    PARENTS - take this valuable 2 hours to shop, wrap or just have a much needed kid-free time while I take great care of your children. ♥

    Ages 5 and Up. Please have your child eat dinner prior to coming but bring a snack and water for your kids to enjoy throughout the evening.

    Kids Yoga helps our children gain self-confidence, create awareness in their body and breath and gives our kids that amazing feeling of calm. This is a safe space for your child to learn and grow while having tons of fun!

    $20 per child. Families with more than one child will receive a 20% discount off the total.


  • Tween Yoga (9-13)
  • Tween Yoga is perfect for boys and girls ages 9-13 years old. It is a non-judgemental, creative, safe, and fun space for your pre-teen to grow and learn about themselves through movement and breath. We encourage trust throughout class and find ways to challenge ourselves to improve our coordination, balance and self control. We also learn strategies to help kids this age deal with the pressures of everyday life and increase their self confidence and self esteem. Have your child wear comfortable clothes and bring a bottled water.
    Non members: $10 for 1 child. Each sibling is $4.

  • Parents Night Out Tween Addition (age 9-13)
  • This Parent's Night Out is for Tweens Only. We will be talking about the New Year and we will make a vision board to help set our intensions for 2019.
